Specific Expertise from QSC
To support research projects and cores, the QSC provides centralized statistical and bioinformatics services, one-on-one training, collaborative research and data management support for Partnership research projects and cores. QSC services include expertise in the following areas:
- ORIEN Avatar/TCC Molecular Data Requests
- - Requesting data/numbers from TCC
- - Access counts and availability of ORIEN Avatar molecular data from PRBB
- Biostatistics: Data science including basic statistical modeling, data cleaning, experimental design and power calculations
- - Statistical experimental design support in cell line, animal study, and human behavioral intervention or clinical trial
- - Grant Preparation (Rigor & Reproducibility)
- - Calculate adequate sample sizes
